What is Passion Industry?

Passion Industry is a free adult idle merge game by BarHat Games (published by Passion Panda Publishing) that launched globally on December 8, 2025. The premise: you're a producer breaking into the adult entertainment business. Your starlets are ambitious, your studios start small, and everything grows from one simple action — merging. Combine items on the board, construct and upgrade themed venues across the city, and win over a cast of 20+ collectible girls, each with her own card, personality, and storyline.

What separates it from the flood of merge games is the Merge-5 system: instead of the usual three-item combines, matching five identical items at once produces the merged result plus a bonus item — so patient board play is genuinely rewarded. Wrap that loop in flirty chat, photoshoots, romantic quests and fully animated date scenes, and you get a game that's equal parts relaxing idle builder and dating sim.

You can try it in about ten seconds: it runs instantly in your browser with no registration, and there are also a Steam version for PC and Mac and an Android APK. It's genuinely free-to-play — optional purchases speed things up, but every venue, girl and story chapter can be reached without spending.

How Passion Industry Plays

The core loop is easy to learn and hard to put down:

1. Merge on the grid. Spend energy to generate items, then combine identical ones. Five at once beats three — the Merge-5 bonus is the engine of fast progression.
2. Build your venues. Merged items fund construction of 5 themed venues, each with 8–10 upgrade stages. Every stage raises the passive income that keeps flowing even while you're offline.
3. Collect the girls. The card system brings new characters — Rare, Epic and Legendary — whose passive bonuses boost your empire. Duplicates level their cards up.
4. Romance them. Gifts raise each girl's Romance level, unlocking private chats, costume reveals and animated dates. Venue progress and character stories feed each other.

Sessions can be two minutes (collect income, fire off a few merges) or two hours (event pushes, board optimization) — the game respects both. That's the idle-game contract, and Passion Industry keeps it.
